Jotamastic 80 is a surface-tolerant epoxy mastic primer designed for maintenance and repair. The Jotamastic brand is Jotun’s largest brand for surface-tolerant maintenance coatings and has been on the market for more than 30 years. Jotamastic 80 is a high solids product especially suited for areas where optimal surface preparation is not possible or required. Jotamastic 80 can be used as a primer, midcoat or as a single-coat system in atmospheric environments. It can be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures on properly prepared carbon steel, and on aged coating surfaces. For immersed environments Jotamastic 80 Aluminium is suitable.

When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification:
- Low Flame Spread in accordance with EU Directive for Marine Equipment. Approved in accordance with parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO 2010 FTP Code, or Parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO FTPC when in compliance with
IMO 2010 FTP Code Ch. 8.
